Terms of service
Last updated 22 August 2026. These terms cover chinavpn.travel, BIM VPN and Local Translate, all operated by BIM Groupe Holding International Limited, British Virgin Islands company number 2156814.
The agreement
What you get, and what we do not promise
Your account
One account covers BIM VPN and Local Translate. The licences are separate: buying one does not include the other. Three devices may be registered to an account. Accounts are for one person and are not to be shared or resold.
The Local Translate licence
One payment, no renewal, no upgrade fee. The price you paid and the date you paid it are recorded on your account, and a buyer at the launch price remains a buyer at the launch price if the price or these terms change later. The application verifies its licence when it has a connection and then operates offline for 30 days before it needs to check again.
The VPN subscription
Billed for the period you choose and cancellable at any time, effective at the end of the paid period. Node locations may change. Locations described as planned are not part of what you are buying until they are live.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to attack other systems, to send bulk unsolicited mail, to distribute material that is illegal where you are, or to impersonate another person. We will terminate an account being used this way. We do not monitor your traffic to find out; we act on credible reports.
Legal use in your jurisdiction
You are responsible for whether using this service is lawful where you are and whether it complies with your employer's policy. Chinese regulation requires VPN services sold inside China to be licensed. We are not your lawyer and nothing on this site is legal advice.
What we do not promise
- We do not promise uninterrupted service. Filtering conditions change, nodes are blocked and replaced, and there are bad evenings.
- We do not promise anonymity. The service changes where your traffic exits. It does not hide you from services you log into.
- We do not promise that any particular third-party service will work, or keep working, through the connection.
Refunds
Test the products before you travel, which is the only test that means anything. If a product does not do what this site says it does, contact support with your account and we will refund it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands.
